We’re excited to announce today that Netflix and Sony have partnered to bring you thousands of movies and TV episodes streamed instantly from Netflix to your TV via your PS3 system at no extra charge. When the application launches next month, you’ll be able to access and watch thousands of Netflix choices directly through the XMB. We think that the nearly nine million PS3 enthusiasts and 11.1 million Netflix members in the U.S. will make quite a match.
At least they say they did it and it’ll be available next month. I figure that means they signed a contract and now have one developer looking into it.
Got an update for you. It seems it won’t be available as a download initially. Instead you’ll need a disc from Netflix. If you’re already a member you can log in and sign up for it to be sent to you.
Christmas is coming really early this year. Both Amazon.com and Toys R Us are running this deal this week.
There are of course differences in the deals. At Toys R Us all in-stock video games are eligible for the promotion. At amazon only the games in this list qualify. Don’t worry though as there are plenty of great games available.

Or (8002951B) whatever that means.
It seems like just a few days ago I was babbling on about the greatness of the multiplayer Uncharted 2 demo. Like a digital dear John out of no where the demo now spews…
Totally harshed my multiplayer mellow. Would a friendlier message have been so hard? Was feeling good about the game now I’m irked.
About a week ago, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves multi-player demo was released on the PS3 stored. I didn’t play Uncharted partly because it’s demo sucked. This time around it’s well worth the download featuring four locations and a whole bunch of different modes. I’m generally partial to FPS rather than 3rd person, but I think I’ll have to check this one out.
